Liberty Hall Capital Partners is a private equity firm founded in 2011 and headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina. It is the first and only private equity firm with a singular focus on the global aerospace and defense industry. Their investment thesis targets middle-market businesses within this sector, including manufacturers, engineered product businesses, aircraft financiers, MRO service providers, and software/technology companies serving commercial aerospace, business jet, military aerospace, and space end markets. Their strategy is research-driven, leveraging deep industry knowledge for strategic and operational improvements through a hands-on approach. They primarily pursue control buyouts and utilize a 'buy and build' strategy, making platform acquisitions followed by add-on acquisitions. Their inaugural fund, Liberty Hall Capital Partners Fund I, L.P., closed with $226.5 million in April 2018. Including co-investment capital, their capital under management reached $545 million.
