Viola Ventures, established in 2000 and based in Israel, is a venture capital firm dedicated to fostering the growth of Israeli technology companies into global leaders. The firm primarily invests in early-stage rounds, specifically pre-seed, seed, and Series A, with a focus on leading deals. Viola Ventures targets a broad spectrum of technology sectors, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) across various sub-fields, Fintech, Cybersecurity and Defense Technology, and Quantum Technologies. They also invest in a wide array of other sectors such as IT, Media, BioTech, AgroTech, Business Solutions, Hardware, Retail, Sales, IoT, HealthTech, Web Security, Gaming, Analytics, Autonomous Vehicles, Cloud Services, GovTech, Human Resources, Impact, Insurance, Logistics, Material Science, Medical Devices, DeepTech, Healthcare, LegalTech, Mobility, and Web Mobile & Media. As part of the larger Viola Group, which manages over $7 billion in AUM, Viola Ventures announced in December 2025 the closing of two new funds totaling approximately $250 million: Viola Conviction Fund I ($100 million) for secondary transactions and Viola Ventures VII for early-stage investments. Previously, the firm managed around $1.5 billion in AUM. Viola Ventures typically invests between $2 million to $10 million per deal, with a preferred range of $3 million.
